2024: "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing badly."
This past year has felt like a lifetime of learning curves and "out of the frying pan, into the fire". Because of all of the big new things I've learned this year (online sales! packaging! shipping! vendor events! social media! streaming!), there are some times I think Flower Sisters Studio has been "a thing" for eternity. This isn't true, of course, but it was a bit of a shock when I was cruising through my camera roll today.

At Christmas just last year I was crafting on a small desk in a tucked-away corner of the house and was gifted a toaster oven to bake earrings in. In January (only January!) I was setting up the online store. The spring and early summer was spent making new designs and getting the hang of things with online sales. By June I made my own studio space and moved in. Summer was spent learning the ropes of vendor events and outdoor sales. Fall was taken over by set design. Winter has taken me on another adventure of streaming while making jewelry. WHAT A YEAR!
Y'all have been so supportive and encouraging to me on my journey. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love you've given me. Your joy at seeing things I create makes every single bit of it worth it.

So here's to a joyful 2025! May we learn from our mistakes, take joy in the process, and cherish the ones who support and encourage us. Love you all.
❤️ Kate
