✨Baby's First DnD Mini✨
Let's try something new, shall we?
In December I got the wild idea from a friend to stream making art on Twitch. I've always loved teaching no matter what phase of my life I've been in, and streaming seemed like the perfect way to let people join in the process of my creativity. Truly, I've loved it. The sweet little community built around my channel is really into miniatures and DnD, and an idea was thrown out for me to paint minis on my studio stream on Fridays. The enthusiasm in chat took me by surprise, and I remember asking "For real? Is this really what you guys want to see? If you can help me get to Affiliate on Twitch, I'll paint minis for you," and they said BET.
Enter this teeny Imogen Tumult from Critical Role. Imogen was my very first mini to paint. I was definitely learning on the job since I had new paints and brushes to practice with. I used Vallejo & Citadel paints on the body, while purple alcohol ink on the lightning did a great job of adding color while keeping transparency. Overall I'm very proud of my first mini and can see where I will improve quickly with more practice. I can't wait for you to see what I do next.
